Mixed Emotions is the freedom of expressing feeling felt in association with water. To achieve well being emotions need to be explored. The layering and combination of the blue and green hues of colour, with highlights of metallic and hints of core colours show the complex skin of feelings and uncertainty of the mind. A mixture of reflective, sheer, overlapped, and raised surfaces create a sensory yearning. A holistic touch is encapsulated by the uplifting free expression of the print design, and the flowing free marks waving across the fabrics. Pattern is explored through the challenge of materials with different surface and texture qualities represent the dimensions, diversity and, unknown feelings of water.

Creating a trend made me more aware of the process of trends and the key research needed to clearly understand how to successfully create a collection for a trend.

From the research process and wanting to explore the different emotions associated with water,I decided to try different experimentations. I found these experiences made me feel different emotions from panic from being underwater,to calmness from the stillness and being able to think and relax.
